Day 1: Hanoi – Sapa – Y Linh Ho – Lao Chai – Ta Van Village

Meals: Lunch and Dinner

06:30 | Departure from Hanoi

The bus will pick you up from your hotel or a designated meeting point in Hanoi Old Quarter.

Depart for Sapa via the Noi Bai–Lao Cai Expressway. Along the way, admire the beautiful scenery of Vietnam’s northwestern mountains and terraced rice fields.

A 30-minute break will be provided during the journey.

12:30–13:00 | Arrival in Sapa

Arrive in Sapa and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant or hotel.

14:00 | Trek to Y Linh Ho and Lao Chai

Begin a trekking journey of approximately six kilometres along the slopes of Muong Hoa Valley toward Y Linh Ho Village, home to the Black H’mong community.

Continue walking for approximately three kilometres to Lao Chai Village. Cross a small bridge or tunnel leading into Muong Hoa Valley and enjoy views of terraced fields, streams, mountains, and traditional ethnic villages.

16:00 | Arrive in Ta Van Village

Continue to Ta Van Village, located approximately eight kilometres from Sapa Town.

The village is home to several ethnic communities, including the Giay and H’mong people. Discover traditional stilt houses, local handicrafts, the Ancient Rock Field, and the peaceful countryside.

17:00 | Homestay Check-in and Cooking Class

Check in at a local homestay in Ta Van Village.

Guests may join a cooking class and learn how to make traditional Vietnamese spring rolls.

18:30 | Dinner

Morning | Trek to Giang Ta Chai and Su Pan

Walk approximately eight kilometres through the mountain countryside to visit Giang Ta Chai Village and Su Pan Village.

Giang Ta Chai is home to the Red Dao ethnic community and is known for its beautiful natural landscape, traditional houses, and colourful local culture.

Along the way, enjoy views of bamboo forests, rice terraces, streams, waterfalls, and remote mountain villages.

Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant and take a short rest.

13:30 | Trek to Hau Thao Village

Continue trekking for approximately three kilometres toward Hau Thao Village.

Hau Thao is known for its peaceful atmosphere, traditional ethnic culture, mountain scenery, and fresh climate. The village is also a popular location for cloud hunting when weather conditions are favourable.

15:00 | Homestay Check-in

Arrive in Hau Thao and check in at the homestay.

Spend the afternoon walking around the village, meeting local residents, and learning about their customs and daily life.

Day 3: Hau Thao – Hau Chu Ngai – Sapa – Hanoi
