WESTERN VIETNAM TOUR (2 DAYS 1 NIGHT): SAIGON – MY THO – CAN THO – CON SON ISLAND – FRUIT GARDENS

This 2-day, 1-night itinerary departs daily, taking you away from the hustle and bustle of the city to the fertile Mekong Delta. You will experience the unique riverine culture: from paddling a traditional sampan boat through the coconut canals of My Tho, enjoying hot Ben Tre coconut candy, to the vibrant life on Cai Rang Floating Market. Especially, the journey takes you to Con Son Island Tourist Area – a land of unique rustic experiences such as “flying snakehead fish,” Koi fish massage, and picking your own fruit in the orchards. A short but emotionally rich and flavorful getaway in the Mekong Delta.

DAY 1: SAIGON – MY THO – BEN TRE – CAN THO (Lunch, Dinner)

Morning: Pick up guests and depart for Tien Giang. Visit the ancient Vinh Trang Pagoda. Take a boat trip on the Tien River, admire the four islets of Long, Lan, Quy, and Phung, and learn about fish farming on the river.

Lunch: Visit a coconut candy factory, enjoy honey tea and listen to traditional Southern Vietnamese folk music. Experience a traditional sampan boat ride through the coconut groves and a horse-drawn carriage tour of the village. Enjoy a lunch of the local specialty: deep-fried elephant ear fish.

DAY 2: CAI RANG FLOATING MARKET – CON SON ISLAND – SAIGON (Breakfast, Lunch)

05:00: Visit Cai Rang Floating Market early in the morning, learn about the riverside life of the local people. Afterwards, return to the hotel for breakfast and check out.

Morning/Lunch: Visit Con Son Tourist Area: Visit the fish farm, experience Koi fish massage, enjoy Thac Lac fish cake, watch the “Flying Snakehead Fish” performance and pick your own fruit in the garden. Have a rustic lunch at a local’s house.

Afternoon: Depart for Saigon, stop to check in at the Purple House Film Studio (at your own expense). The exciting journey ends around 7:00 PM.
