FULL DAY MEKONG TOUR: MY THO – BEN TRE – VINH TRANG PAGODA

This one-day journey to explore the Mekong Delta will take you south, along provincial roads shaded by coconut trees and lush green rice fields. You will have the opportunity to cruise on the Tien River, discover the pristine beauty of the Long, Lan, Quy, and Phung islets, and experience authentic rural life in Ben Tre and My Tho. This is not just a sightseeing trip, but also a journey to rediscover traditional cultural values, enjoy fragrant honey tea and the sweet melodies of Don Ca Tai Tu (traditional Southern Vietnamese folk music) of the people of the river region.

DETAILED ITINERARY (Daily Departure)

Morning (07:30 – 07:45): Pick up guests at the meeting point and depart for My Tho. Guests will enjoy a speedboat tour to visit 4 islets: Long, Lan, Quy, and Phung. Visit Thoi Son Island (Lan Islet), enjoy pure honey tea, honey wine, and banana wine at a local bee farm.

Lunch: The boat will take the group to Ben Tre to visit a traditional coconut candy factory. Afterwards, guests will experience riding in a small three-leaf boat, navigating through small canals shaded by lush green coconut trees before stopping at a local restaurant to enjoy a typical Mekong Delta lunch.

Afternoon: Enjoy fresh tropical fruits and listen to traditional Southern Vietnamese folk music. The boat will take the group back to My Tho, visiting Vinh Trang Pagoda – an ancient pagoda with unique Asian-European architecture. 17:00 – 17:30: The bus will take the group back to Ho Chi Minh City.
