NB7: HOA LU/BAI DINH – BICH DONG – THUNG NHAM

This tour takes you to the magnificent Bai Dinh spiritual complex, explores Bich Dong, the “Second Most Beautiful Cave in Southern Vietnam,” by bicycle, and immerses you in the pristine nature of Thung Nham bird sanctuary. This is a perfect combination of Buddhist pilgrimage and unique ecotourism in Ninh Binh province.

DETAILED PROGRAM (Daily Departure)

07:00 – 10:00: Tour guide picks up guests at the Old Quarter/Grand Theatre area and departs for Ninh Binh. Arrive at Bai Dinh Pagoda – the largest pagoda in Southeast Asia. The group visits the Tam The Hall, the Pháp Chủ Hall, the 100-ton Buddha statue, and admires the magnificent architecture on Bai Dinh Mountain.

12:30 – 13:30: Enjoy a buffet lunch at a luxurious restaurant overlooking the Tam Coc ferry terminal. Afterwards, you will experience cycling to Bich Dong Pagoda – “The Second Most Beautiful Cave in Southern Vietnam,” visiting the three pagodas (Lower, Middle, and Upper) nestled amidst ancient trees and mystical caves.

14:30 – 16:30: Continue cycling to Thung Nham Eco-tourism Area. The group will explore Vai Gioi Cave, But Cave, the thousand-year-old moving banyan tree, and check in at the vibrant flower garden. At the end of the day, you will take a boat trip to visit the bird sanctuary, admiring tens of thousands of birds (including rare species listed in the Red Book) flying back to their nests, filling the sky.

17:00 – 19:00: The vehicle will pick up guests and depart back to Hanoi. At the end of the tour, the tour guide will take guests back to their hotel/original meeting point in the Old Quarter area. Farewell and see you again!
