HANOI TOUR PROGRAM (1 DAY)
Hanoi, the capital city with a thousand years of history, preserves and retains a long history spanning thousands of years. You will visit famous landmarks such as: Tran Quoc Pagoda, Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Ba Dinh Square, Temple of Literature, Vietnam Museum of Ethnology, Hoa Lo Prison… all imbued with the ancient charm of a former capital and immerse yourself in its unique culture.
DETAILED ITINERARY (Daily Departure)
8:00 – 8:30: Tour guide picks up guests at hotel in the Old Quarter or Hanoi Opera House to begin the journey.
8:45: Visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum complex (Ho Chi Minh’s stilt house, fish pond) and One Pillar Pagoda. (Note: Wear long clothes covering your knees).
10:15 AM: Visit the Museum of Ethnology to learn about the 54 ethnic groups of Vietnam (Monday will be a visit to the Women’s Museum).
12:15 PM – 12:30 PM: Guests rest and enjoy lunch at the restaurant.
12:30 PM: Visit Tran Quoc Pagoda – the oldest pagoda in Hanoi, located on the Golden Fish Island in West Lake.
2:30 PM: Visit the Temple of Literature – Vietnam’s first university, built in 1070.
3:30 PM: Visit Hoa Lo Prison – once known as “Hell on Earth”.
4:30 PM: The vehicle will drop guests off at the hotel. Guests can choose to add a cyclo ride (45 minutes) or a water puppet show (50 minutes).

⚠ SPECIAL NOTE
- Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum is closed Monday & Friday and for maintenance from June 15th to August 15th (exterior areas can still be visited).
- Vietnam Museum of Ethnology is closed Monday (replaced by the Vietnam Women’s Museum).
- Dress code: Modest clothing (covering shoulders and knees) when visiting tombs, temples, and pagodas.
- Recommended items to bring: Cash, phone/camera, sunscreen, umbrella.
- The itinerary may be subject to change depending on weather conditions.
